What qualifies as adult content?

I'm not sure what qualifies as 'adult content' in a book. Given that it is not a visual medium, there is way more that you can get away with in text than in a movie (notice how Harry was not naked in the spirit scene of the last movie). I have two books now. Both of them have a fair amount of violence, and lots of nudity. What level of violence is considered not R rated in a book? I've noticed you can get away with a lot more violence in print than in visual media. For example, RA Salvatore can be pretty bloody, and they're still considered YA books. When I say violence, I mean a fair amount, but it's presented in a comedic setting. For instance, most of my characters are vampires and there's a scene where they pop the head off an animal and spray the blood like a champagne bottle.

Now, as for sex and nudity. All my sex scenes are fade to black, but I have a couple characters that parade around in the nude, both from post coitus and due to their nature as a werewolf. This not being a visual medium, I would think nudity would be perfectly fine. No in detail description of their intimate parts, though I do draw attention to their nudity, for instance, the female character being very happy at all the eye candy.

Now for language. This is where it gets tricky. The first book might have a little profanity sprinkled here and there, so I might could slip by on the profanity. But my second book has a character who swears in pretty much every sentence (he's a parody of Blade). Would profanity kick me into 'adult content'?

The reason I ask is I'm trying to self publish on createspace, and in order to get wide distribution, I have to mark yes or no for adult content. It also asks if I want to distribute to schools, which I'm probably not going to do. Any help would be appreciated.
