I had emailed the editor, asking for a status on my submission, even referring to the submission number for reference. They have not responded back, and the website seems to be defunct.
Should I email the editor, telling them that I would like to pull my story out? An email which is just a formality so I can submit it to other mags.
Also, any stories such as these where an editor hasn't responded for a year and then responding finally?
