A lot of print literary journals seem to put at least some of what they publish online. I'm wondering how they choose which stories to put online and which to keep in the print version only. Does anyone know the logic behind this? I get that putting some of the stories online can be sort of a teaser to get people to subscribe or buy the issue, but how do editors decide which stories to give double exposure like this?
