Hi folks! Newbie here saying hi. I stumbled across this site while doing research for a fantasy series I'm working on. Very glad to join, this is my first writing forum that I have joined.
I'm a botanist/plant ecologist by trade/training/passion. Half the year I work in a lab studying plant & fungus symbiosis. The other half I wander through the mountains doing various vegetation surveys. That half leaves me without internet/cell reception/tv/anything electric that can't run off a small solar panel. Living in a hammock for months at a time is surprisingly conducive to writing.
