Hi to all who helped me avoid a possible mistake. You warned me against an agent, whom I
probably won't name (right away, at least) and whom, after I declined her offer of a contract, called
me on the phone, asked me why, and went on to tell me how disappointed she was in me and how
reputable her business was. Of course, it's my first book I'm trying to get representation for. She
had not read it but had read the proposal. That concerned me but also that I couldn't find anyone
who had been represented by her on the blogs and that P&E did not recommend her. Any thoughts?
