Angela Nguyen delivers pizzas to people from every walk of life, but when she rolled up to a tiny camper on the outskirts of Anoka County, she found one customer she wouldn't forget.
Inside the 12-foot-long camper was Lee Haase. The 76-year-old was living alone in extreme poverty after he was hit with a terrible set of circumstances. First, his home was severely damaged in a storm, then his son died in a snowmobile accident.
"Lee has told me that he's pretty much given up on life," said Nguyen.
To help the old man survive winter Angela bought him a heater, and started a GoFundMe campaign to continue to help him. He's even had a local construction company decide to build him a small house.
