Some grammar and style checkers say that I use too many simple sentences in my novels and that I should change some to compound, complex, or compound complex sentences.
The problem with that is that I often can't change it to compound, complex, or compound complex because it wouldn't make sense if I did that.
And then if I could there would be another problem of too many compound, complex, and compound complex sentences.
So can you really have too many simple sentences? I don't think so but I also don't know if you can have too many or not.
