How important is a fax machine?

I want to start querying for magazine articles eventually and I'm choosing a new printer and I'm wondering if I should get an all-in-one with a fax. I won't have a dedicated fax number though, so if someone calls they'll get my voice. The fax would word for sending faxes if nothing else.
