Hello from the High Desert in SoCal

Hi everyone! My name is Julie Manson and I am 21 years old. I have been writing a variety of things since I was 8 years old. From short stories to poetry I have done it, and I believe it is an outpouring of my soul onto paper whenever I write. I am very passionate about writing and am currently working on a novel. However, it seems whenever I get good ideas, I shoot them down. Therefore, I am in a severe case of Writer's Block [brought on by myself :(] and so far cannot see a way out. That is why I joined this site. I do not have any other writers in my life [besides my older sister], so I do not have people to help me through this. Hopefully, I can get help on here from others who write like I do. :) See you in the forums!
