Apparently someone was using it today on some gambling site. Thankfully my card company contacted me, and they've closed the card and told me to file a report. No real damage done. But this is the SECOND time this has happened this year. The first time someone used my card in two French restaurants. I don't want to keep getting new cards, but I just have no idea how this happens. The only online purchases I've made this summer have been with Amazon, Steam, Google Play, Netflix and DrivethruRPG (a fairly major RPG book store). As far as I know all of these are reputable.
Just how do these vermin get a hold of credit card info? I'm terribly illiterate in computer and online matters and I really don't know where else to ask or how do defend myself from this nonsense.
