Brand new, just published NF writer from NYC here!

Hi everyone--

Just wanted to introduce myself.

I am a first-time, just-published, nonfiction author.

After seven years of research and writing, FORTNEY ROAD: Life, Death, and Deception in a Christian Cult was published in June 2015.

I was able to get some terrific blurbs from best-selling and known authors in this genre:

So I'm here to encourage everyone else not to give up--seven years is a long time to wait/work on a project, but keep at it!

I also would like advice as to what to do next to keep the momentum going (I'm active on Twitter and Facebook--just Google Fortney Road and you'll find stuff.)

And if anyone wants to know how I got the blurbs, film rights representation, a publisher, etc., just ask.
