So, I was reading another thread where people were mentioning their writing speeds, and someone was clocking in at 1.5k words an hour. Holy smokes! That's amazing!
I write maybe 500 words... a day. If I write 1,500 words I pat myself on the back. :tongue
Yeah, I realize it's hard to compare word counts, because there are different levels of polish. I admit my 500 words are pretty done, and that they'll (mostly) be in the completed manuscript. I generally have good word economy, so not much inflation with unnecessary words.
But still, that comes out to like ~100ish words an hour, which sounds really depressing, when you think of how many hours it takes to finish something!
