A couple of years ago, I finished writing a serial novel and I'd planned to convert it to a standalone novel right away. Real life got in the way, so that process has taken far longer than anticipated. Anyway, I finally finished my own edits and have sent the manuscript off to a copyeditor. I'm now working on getting the cover redone and thinking more about interior formatting (thank you Scrivener), but reaching the copyedit stage this summer was a major goal for me. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
