I heard about a horror novel (at least I think it's horror) some time ago which I never got around to reading, but now I can't remember the title. I was wondering if anyone knows this book? The only thing I know about it is the plot - I think it's about a guy whose daughter is kidnapped by some mad scientist/doctor and subject to an experiment where her body dies but her mind remains 'alive' and conscious while her body undergoes the process of decay. So the idea is the father has to race against time to find and cure her before she literally decomposes alive. I'm pretty sure it has a one word title.
Does anyone know the name of this novel?
