my name is Katie. I'm Irish and I've been writing for years (evidenced by the fact that I joined this site ages ago). I've been struggling to get published and intend to become active on this forum (finally!) in order to help overcome some of the rejection anxiety by chatting to others and critiquing each others' work. I'm a trainee English/History and Classical Studies teacher by day, and the rest of the time I write short stories and novels, mainly speculative fiction, some literary.
