Couldn't see any other threads about this, but I'm sure I can't be the only homebrewer here. I started doing beer kits about two years ago and recently moved up to working with malt extract as an intermediate step to all-grain. Right now I'm enjoying myself making up recipes and trying to work out how to get more hoppiness into my beers, and I'll take the dive into grain next year some time.
I'm currently drinking an all-Citra pale ale I'm calling "Hoplite" because it's somewhat lacking in that department :D. Its brother, Hoplite 2, is the same recipe but with all late hop additions, and is currently conditioning. Should be ready mid September for some interesting side-by-side comparisons. Next up will be a US-style IPA with as much malt character as I can get from DME and Magnum, Chinook, and Ahtanum (my favourite!) hops.
