I haven't been on here for quite some time except as a lurker, but I have been around for several years.
I'm currently looking for someone with skill and ability to offer honest critique for a work in progress. I've got 36,000 plus words so far, but have let life and other responsibilities lure me away from this project, and I really need to finish it. I feel a beta would be the push I need.
I would willingly beta in return, but warn I do work with a critical mind and can't sugar-coat. I expect the same in return.
This project is just straight MG, but it does deal with harsh reality. If interested, please let me know. I seriously need to get this finished unless the opinions force me to admit it isn't worth it. Thanks so much.
