With the instability through much of the Middle East and North Africa there has been a surge of migrants into Europe to escape the deadly conflicts. This has been building for years but now is reaching a point that the issue cannot simply be ignored or passed off to a few countries within the EU. The stories connected to this issue could easily flood this board so this thread is to share them all and talk about the issue in general.
A couple stories to start things off:
While there are plenty of recent and current issues that can be spotlighted connected to this problem right now the biggest one is happening in Hungary where hundreds of migrants have been halted from continuing their travel, mostly North and to Germany, and they have begun massive protests. Though that isn't the worst treatment of migrants as Czech wrote numbers on the skin a group of migrants traveling without documentation, is incarcerating them and when they free them will charge them for the detention. (BBC online)
