As of today I'm at 16k words on my WIP and my goal is to hit 20k by the end of September. It's not a very ambitious goal considering I'm on sick leave and have virtually no responsibilities but I don't want to put too much pressure on myself. I would like to hit 60k by the end of October so the farther along I get this month the easier that goal will be. Still, I seem to write the best stuff when I'm doing around 1-2k words a day, too much more and I have a hard time keeping everything straight.
Do you guys have any tricks to keep yourselves writing at a consistent pace?
